Bell Ringing for Salvation Army
Our Kennewick Kiwanis club has helped the Salvation Army with their kettle bell ringing for a number of years. It is a busy time of the year but it seems the volunteer often receives the gift when they may believe they are giving it.

Near the beautiful Columbia Crest winery in Washington State is a fairly flat, straight road that will take you back to the Tri-Cities. It is amazing that a production car from Shelby SuperCars (also located in the great state of Washington) would break both the official and unofficial world records for a production car on this stretch of road. Washington State is home to some of the best wineries in the world. One of my favorite for quality and price is Columbia Crest. Columbia Crest was chosen as the 2009 wine of the year by Wine Spectator, quite an honor. Their wines are hard to beat!
It is just a short drive (approximately 45 minutes, depending on your foot) to Columbia Crest from the Tri-Cities and well worth your time. The building is beautiful and the grounds immaculate. The real treat is the wine! I happen to be fond of their Cabernet and boy do they make a good one. Continue reading
